Ask yourself something-- Do find your motivation ebbs and flows? That it’s hard to be strong and make the right health choices-Every-Single-Day?
Good - then you’re normal!
There is a saying I’ve given you several times over the years: Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.
I’ve used it in many contexts. Then I came across another saying, which was similar – Act better, not perfect, more often.
In general, if you are on track 80-90% of the time and have a few down days, missed workouts, or food fumbles, you’re still on track to great health. It’s not about being 100% perfect, it’s about improvement and grace for real life wiggle room.
Do better for your health, more often. Focus on improvements not failures. We all have failure. It helps us learn and grow stronger. But don’t stay fixated on yesterday’s ‘off’ day. Today (this week) pick it back up and move forward.
Thank you for your continued support and have a wonderful week!
